Restaurant online ordering, answered
What is commission-free online ordering?
It means the ordering company doesn't take a percent of each sale. TIKT charges a flat monthly plan (Starter is free), and customers pay a $0.25 service fee at checkout. Your restaurant keeps its full menu prices.
Can I do delivery without hiring drivers?
Yes. You can deliver with your own staff and your own delivery fee, or on Pro turn on TIKT GO so local drivers deliver your orders. Drivers are paid from the delivery fee and keep 100% of the tip.
Do I need a tablet or a printer?
No. Orders show up on an orders screen that runs on any tablet, laptop or phone and rings until accepted. A kitchen printer is an add-on for Pro if you want tickets printed automatically.
Can customers order from my own website?
Yes. We add an "Order Now" button to your current site, or on Pro we build and host a full restaurant website with ordering built in, on your own web address.
How fast can my restaurant start taking online orders?
Usually within a few days. Send us your menu, a website, Facebook page or photos of the menu, and we build your page and walk your staff through the orders screen.
How do I get paid?
Card payments go into your own Stripe account and then to your bank on Stripe's normal schedule. Cash is collected by you at pickup or on delivery.
